- VISA : We have already the Russian and the Kazak Visa. The only additional Visa required is a transit VISA in Byelorussia. Easy to get one in a week through an agency. For all the other Countries where we will ride no additional Visas are required for European Citizens.
- Bike Insurance : The green card covers almost all the countries. Only Kazakhstan and Georgia are not covered. We managed to get a Kazak insurance for our Bike in Aksai. For Georgia we will try to get one at the border on the way back to Italy.
- Bike preparation : We will raid close to 10.000 km and the bike must be in perfect condition to avoid any failure which can jeopardize the result of the trip. So all the team went for a full service of the bike, changing some critical parts for the bikes with more Km. The Bike of Lorenzo ( KTM 1190 ADV) and Luca ( Yamaha ST 1200) are practically new, while the Bike of Giacomo ( KTM 990 ADV) and Giovanni (BMW 1150 GS) are more aged and requiring more care. We will carry with us the tools required for a basic maintenance, for repair a flat tyre.
- Tyres : The normal duration of a Bik'e tyres is 10K km which is the duration of our trip. So the choice of the type of tyre is critical . After long discussion in the team and suggestions from the individual tyres dealer, we installed 4 different type of tyres. Giacomo and Luca, tyres more aggressive also for off road use, Lorenzo and Giovanni tyres more street oriented. The trip will be a good test to decide who did the right choice
- Accommodation : So far we booked only the hotel in Budapest for Sunday 15 June. We will choose the other hotel on a daily basis taking in consideration the progress of the trip.
- Departure : The ride will start on Sunday 15 of June. Because the team is living in different part of Italy , we will meet in Padova, near Venice, where we will start the trip together. Flavio Fontanive (Halliburton) will join us until Lubiana, in Slovenia.
